Grosse Pointe Windsurfing Club is for all skill levels, beginners to advanced. We
practice and discuss all techniques on and off the water including equipment, rigging,
uphauling, beach and water starts, tacking, jibing, upwind and downwind sailing, racing
and free style tricks. Our purpose is to learn, improve and have fun! Also to promote Windsurf racing. We hold a regatta every year on or about the third Saturday in June. Our members also participate in many regional and national races. If you windsurf and never considered racing we recommend you give it a try.

Well the 2008 windsurfing season is here!Some of you have been out windsurfing already while other are waiting for it to warm up a bit. Plans are already underway for a big 2008 windsurfing season. The GPWC regatta will be held on Saturday June 21, 2008.
The Toledo regatta will be held on Sat. and Sun May 31 and June 1, 2008, click here for NOR.
We hope to see you at one of these events. The April 5, 2008 newsletter has been added to the newsletters page. We will have a complete calander up shortly will all the Midwest windsurfing events.
