Grosse Pointe Windsurfing Club is for all skill levels, beginners to advanced. We
practice and discuss all techniques on and off the water including equipment, rigging,
uphauling, beach and water starts, tacking, jibing, upwind and downwind sailing, racing
and free style tricks. Our purpose is to learn, improve and have fun! Also to promote Windsurf racing. We hold a regatta every year on or about the third Saturday in June. Our members also participate in many regional and national races. If you windsurf and never considered racing we recommend you give it a try.

Well the 2009 windsurfing season is here!We apologise if this site is looking a little dated, but we have been assured that the crack programming team at Sailboardalley.com is hard at work creating us an updated site. Some of you have been out windsurfing already while other are waiting for it to warm up a bit. Plans are already underway for a big 2009 windsurfing season. The GPWC regatta will be held on Saturday June 20, 2009.
